Hometown:I was born and raised in the small town of Coeymans Hollow, NY. It is located approximately 30 minutes from Albany which is the capital of New York State.
On Staff Since:
I became the Lead Pastor at New Hope in July 2002 at the ripe old age of 31.
Interesting Fact:
I am the youngest of nine children and I love spending time with all of them… Five sisters and three brothers.
What's On My iPod:
The better question might be… What’s not on my iPod. If you popped in my earbuds you would be listening to a buffet… Jeremy Camp – Daughtry – Creed – Desperation Band – Parachute Band – The Message Bible – Tombstone (The Movie) – High School Musical 2 – Miley Cyrus (Courtesy of my eleven year old) – Jason Upton – Andy Stanley – Bill Hybels. That probably equals a couple gig.
On Office Wall:
A 4 x 6 New York Yankees jacquard – My son’s alien drawings – A white board containing the churches mission and vision
Favorite Bible Passage:
The book of Romans… No clearer message in the Bible of why we need God’s love and the difference it can make in our lives
Schooling:
Family:
I have been married to my wonderful wife Jennifer for the past 12 years. We met while she was in Bible College and I was serving as Youth Pastor at her family’s home church in Rochester, NH.

- Alexandria (14) who loves God, soccer, music, youth group, and hanging out with friends
- Brendon (12) who loves God, video games, building stuff, and playing football
- Gabrielle (9) who loves God, her friends, clothes, and American Girl Dolls
In My Free Time:
Besides hanging out with my family, I enjoy going to the movies, playing video games (sports – Medal of Honor), and managing my fantasy football teams.
Unfinished Book On The Shelf:
A lot of them… One of my bad habits of starting a book and moving on to the next one before the other is finished. Right now I am reading The Dark Side of Leadership and The Emotionally Healthy Church
Mission Trips:
I have been to Mexico three times and Romania twice. I love helping people who are hurting / less fortunate by meeting their physical needs and encouraging their spirits. I also served with the American Red Cross in Mississippi in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Ministry Goals:
I consider myself a very down to earth person who attempts to live with an eternal perspective. I believe God is real and He really wants us to know His love for all people. I try to encourage people to live the teachings of Jesus and experience His plan and purpose for their life
